Allstate offers various methods of pavement marking removal including high pressure water blasting, poly planning and temporary black-out.
‘Black-out’ provides a top-coat of paint (or other chosen material) similar in colour to the road surface to cover any existing pavement markings. This form of ‘removal’ is usually used as a temporary method due to its shortened life-span compared to other removal methods. Mainly used for short to mid-term projects on highways or other carriageways during the construction phase to either help safely divert traffic away from the construction site, or help reduce the traffic speed of those areas. Other forms of removal such as water blasting is the preferred method for permanent line marking removal.
Our Line & Waste Equipment & Technology
Delivering up to 40,000 psi, our two award-winning, American designed Hog Technologies water blasting units are highly sought after. This is due to their ability to remove or rejuvenate markings on roads and highways as well as rubber deposits from airport runways with minimal impact on the existing surface. Equipped to transport its own water to site and remove all waste when complete, water blasting is both cost efficient and environmentally friendly.
In order to service the ‘around the clock’ nature of the roading industry, Allstate source experienced and highly equipped crews with task specific equipment on day, night and weekend shifts. This ensures we are able to offer our clients increased flexibility when faced with project time constraints. All pavement removal crews are managed in-house by a dedicated Project Delivery team to ensure quality and service that will exceed client expectations.
